Our recent Annual Conference was a huge success in large part to all of you. Without your interest, excitement, and support, Legacy would not be successful. As we continue to navigate the evolving landscape of local government, it is more important than ever to celebrate and support the leadership and contributions of women within our community, and the Legacy Project is critical to that continued support and growth.

Over the next year, Legacy will continue its efforts to provide outstanding professional development programs, interactive workshops and brown-bag lunches, and engaging networking opportunities for all members. For instance, this summer, Legacy has once again partnered with IAMMA and multiple other organizations to host a summer series of networking opportunities. We have some great things planned and hope you can make it!

I also want to highly encourage all members to actively participate in Legacy in any way you can. Your involvement is vital to the success of our mission to support and elevate women leaders in local government. For instance, considering joining a committee. We have several amazing committees and would greatly appreciate your time, ideas, and energy in helping to develop our programs, events, and outreach efforts. Legacy only works because of member involvement. Together, we are creating a supportive and empowering environment for women in local government. Let us continue to inspire, lead, and make a positive impact in our communities.
